Enemies Within is the story of an investigative reporter who stumbles on to the remnants of a runaway germ warfare experiment. He soon finds himself tangled in a web of intrigue in which he must search for his own murderer.
When reporter Ryan Corey finds dying men warehoused in a closed wing of a veteran's hospital, his search for answers turns his life upside down as he seeks the motive for his own murder. This is a story based on fact, the fact that our own Supreme Court has determined that the U.S. military can not be held culpable for violations of international law prohibiting human medical experimentation. It is a story of political influence and the abuses which it ultimately spawns. And it is the story of the way in which good people can be corrupted by their own trust.
