ENEMIES WITHIN

PRODUCTION INFORMATION

Enemies Within was produced on AGFA 35mm film stock using Panavision Cameras and Lenses. Grip and Electrical equipment was supplied by both the Hollywood Rental Company and Gunner Lighting.

Production was accomplished on location throughout Southern California, and at the Lindsay Studios in Valencia California. The primary film locations were at the Linda Vista Hospital in Los Angeles, and throughout downtown Ventura, California.

Post Production was basically a desktop endeavor, utilizing an advanced ProTools digital audio editing system with video chase lock, and on a D/Vision digital nonlinear video editing system. The compiled sound tracks were downloaded on to an Alesis ADAT and transported to an Alesis equipped audio mixing facility where the project was mixed on an automated 72 input NEVE mixing console. At the same time, the edit decision list served as the basis for the negative cut at Hollywood's Match N' Cut facility, a company which specializes in conforming cut negative to computer and video edit decision lists.

At no time did the sound and the picture come together, other than on the basis of time code, until the final answer print. All synch was done on the basis of time code with all equipment verified for conformity to the appropriate digital clock standards. The answer print was timed and generated by Jim Williams of Foto-Kem Labs in Burbank.
